Tom McElroy, AIA, LEED AP

Tom grew up in a rural part of New York among old farms and the woods. This environment established a connection to nature for him that he carries into his work. He received a Bachelor of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with studies in Rome and Istanbul. He started out in NYC, moved to San Francisco, opened his own practice in 2009 and now splits time between CA and NY. He is licensed in both states and takes on remodels, additions and new construction of houses throughout the Bay Area and Hudson Valley, combining bright modernism with a familiar warmth, blending new technologies with recycled materials.
