Diamond House

A new level with bedrooms was added on top of an existing house. We removed interior walls, opened a central core for the stair and placed big skylights above to bring light down to the lower levels. The refreshed house has a lived-in feel with repurposed items - barn beams, weathered siding, brick flooring. Warmth is added with plaster walls, solid wood rails and treads at the stair and built-ins crafted by the homeowner.
